WHAT IS THE PTO?
The McDevitt Parent-Teacher Organization is a 501(c)(3) non-profit org of parent volunteers, teachers, and administrators who work together to support our students and teachers.
Our goals are community spirit, sharing school-related info and issues, and provide financial support for school needs, activities, and programs.
The PTO organizes and funds a variety of activities and events:
• Buses for field trips
• Visiting authors & artists
• School supply drives
• Multicultural Night
• Teacher Appreciation
• The Scholastic Book Fair
• Renaissance Program
• Restaurant Fundraisers
• End of Year Celebrations
• 8th Grade Yearbooks
• Scholarships for McDevitt alumni WHS Seniors
• Movie night, dances, and more!
WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP?

Every parent, guardian, teacher, and administrator is encouraged to be involved in the PTO. Your talents, energy, and voice are needed to help make our kids time at McDevitt the most memorable experience!
There are opportunities for involvement at many levels:
• Attend monthly PTO meetings when possible
• Volunteer your valuable time, services, and talents
• Make a donation - maybe your employer matches
• Translate flyers or emails for better accessibility
• Choose an event to help organize or be a volunteer
• Help reach out to families and strengthen community
• Reach out to businesses for tax-deductible support
